Barwick Lane, Ingleby Wood and Thornaby Wood
4.3 miles (7km)
1 hour 40 minutes
Mostly flat and paved
A beautiful woodland walk around Thornaby wood, which takes in the cycle and footpaths of Ingleby Barwick. You can start and finish the route near Romano Park, so a good walk for families and dog walkers. The route isn’t pushchair or wheelchair friendly as there are steps and gateways to pass through along the way. Suitable footwear is advisable due to the nature of the route. This walk is great for a little adventure and lots of nature spotting along the way.
