Hardwick and Roseworth to the Countryside

This route is a great chance to get away from the houses and out into the countryside, using the Stockton Greenway and some quiet roads.

Stockton West

This ride connects Ropner Park with Newham Grange Park, creating a loop using the Stockton Greenway and some quiet roads through Oxbridge.

Portrack Loop

A varied traffic-free route between Stockton centre, Norton and the Newport Bridge.

Full River Tees Loop

This is the longest loop you can ride along the Tees, from Stockton town centre to the Newport Bridge near Middlesbrough.

Elmtree to Preston Park

This route rides up and down the Stockton Greenway, an old railway line which has been converted into a walk and cycle path. Although it’s close to residential areas, it feels completely wild as you walk between lines of trees and past Hartburn’s Six Fields.

Middlesbrough Central

This little loop has it all, with a nice stretch riding by the Tees, Albert Park, Dinosaur Park, Newport Bridge, the Transporter Bridge and the Riverside Stadium.

Ingleby Barwick Loop

A good on/off road tour around Ingleby Barwick, which without doubt has the best cycle paths in the area.

Billingham and Wolviston
